No wheel, no mess, no experience needed
Pick up a brush. Paint something brilliant.
Choose a bisque-fired piece from our shelves, sit down with your colours and paint at your own pace. Sessions run Tuesday to Saturday — all sessions are priced per person.
The experience
How it works
Browse our selection of bisque-fired pieces — mugs, bowls, animals, tiles, seasonal shapes and more. Choose your piece, settle in with your paints and brushes, and paint at whatever pace suits you. When you're done, we glaze and kiln-fire your piece and contact you when it's ready to collect — usually within one to two weeks.

What we stock
Our bisque range
We stock a wide and ever-changing range of bisque-fired pieces — from small decorative tiles to large platters. Pieces are grouped into price bands based on size and complexity.
Manufactured bisque
Consistent, detailed shapes — animals, characters, seasonal pieces. Great for children and first-timers.
Studio-made bisque
Thrown or hand-built in our studio. Each piece is unique — bowls, vases, mugs and more.
Technique guide
Glazing guide
Our glazes fire to a glossy finish and look quite different wet versus fired. Here's a quick guide to our ranges.
Stroke & Coat
Opaque, vibrant, consistent. The most popular range — great for bold colours and clean designs.
Apply 3 coats for full opacity.
Colours fire true to the label.
Excellent for layering and detail work.
Crystal Glaze
Translucent with crystalline effects. Unpredictable and beautiful — no two pieces fire the same.
Apply 2–3 coats for best effect.
Colours shift significantly in the kiln.
Stunning over textured surfaces.
General tips for all glazes
Wet glaze looks nothing like the fired result — trust the label.
More coats = more colour depth and opacity.
Leave the bottom 5mm unglazed to prevent sticking in the kiln.
